Increase the number of meals a day

Increasing the calorie count per day doesn’t mean you have to stuff yourself at each meal. Instead, increase the number of meals a day and have 5 or 6 average-sized meals. Remember that weight gain, like weight loss, is best achieved gradually as it will give your body more time to adjust to the changes.
